Convention and Trade Show Schedule

This is a schedule of the game conventions that we know about, some of which we plan to attend. We are more than happy to help you promote your convention. If you'd like to add your con to our list, use our handy convention registry form.

We can also provide support to GMs who run SJ Games events at conventions and other types of convention support, such as GMs to run SJ Games events! Send mail to conventions@sjgames.com and let us know how we can help.

You can download these posters to publicize your games and help you find new players at conventions (or stores, or schools)!

We also need volunteers to help us at conventions.

June 10: SWFL SpaceCon – Cape Coral, FL

Calling all Superhero, Anime, & Sci-Fi Lovers: SWFL SpaceCon, The Most Exciting Comic and Sci-Fi Event in Southwest Florida Returns this summer! SWFL SpaceCon is a celebration of all aspects of Comic Book and Science-Fiction culture with a common thread uniting all fans. It's the ultimate destination to bring together fandom and celebrities from the world of Comics, Sci-Fi, Anime, Gaming, and Cosplay for an action-packed day. SWFL SpaceCon features special guests for the film/tv and comic book industries, vendors, game demos, drop-in gaming, game tournaments, photo ops, autograph ops, panels, costume contests and non-stop entertainment. SWFL SpaceCon is a Nexus9 LLC event dedicated to furthering the fandom of Comics, Sci-fi, Gaming, Anime, & Pop-Culture in the South West Florida area since 2016. Tickets: General Admission: $15 at the door; $12 for those in costume or wearing an official SWFL SpaceCon shirt. Kids under 12 - one free kids admission per paying adult, $5

June 23-25: LibertyCon 35 – Chattanooga, Tennasee
Location: Chattanooga Marriott Downtown, and Convention Center
You probably know by now that LibertyCon is a convention that prides itself on great guests, phenomenal panels, a killer ConSuite and our "Family Friendly Atmosphere". We're a convention that is small on purpose (we limit the attendees to 1000, which is actually in our Charter) since we want to give the fans a chance to sit down and chat with the guests. Sure we could try to bring in twice the attendees, but do you think you'd be able to sit on a couch with Terry Brooks talking about law or playing Magic the Gathering with Brandon Sanderson if we did?

July 15: GottCon – San Jose, CA
Location: San Jose Masonic Center, 2500 Masonic Drive, San Jose, CA 95125
t is a day long tabletop game experience, where we encourage everyone to try something new: card games, board games, miniature wargames, tabletop roleplaying games. Hunt for a bargain at our flea market, sell worry free with our drop-off "bring and buy", or share the wealth at our "free cycle". Try your hand at miniature painting or just get to know folks in your local community. This is a not-for-profit event. We are facilitating this as a fund-raising event for some of the Masonic youth groups that we are associated with and most proceeds will go to fund their activities.

Aug. 25-27: 2D Con – Minneapolis, MN
Location: Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, 1300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403
2D Con is an inclusive event featuring three days of non-stop gaming. From retro arcade games and pinball all the way to the newest titles, 2D Con has it all. Thousands of games all free to play. Casual or competitive, new or old, we offer something for everyone. Alongside our video game offerings we host a variety of panels and concerts, and a large tabletop gaming area. Registration is good for the entire weekend and gets you into all events with the exception of paid tournaments. 2D Con is hosted by dedicated volunteers, and raises money for charity.

Sept. 1-3: San Japan – San Antonio, Texas

San Japan is the largest Anime & Gaming convention in South Texas. Last year our 100, 000 sq ft Tabletop gaming hall welcomed 5 of the local game stores to come in and run approximately 200 tabletop gaming events.
