May 18, 2012: Plan Your Weekend With Munchkin or Revolution!

Are you going to be in California this weekend? Munchkin artist John Kovalic will be attending Maker Faire with Ken Denmead, the publisher and editor of GeekDad and GeekMom for Wired Magazine online. GeekDad is a sponsor for this year's event in San Mateo. According to the convention website, Maker Faire is a two-day convention that celebrates "invention, creativity, and resourcefulness."

When I asked John about the show, he said, "Maker Faire is a blast -- literally, sometimes. You should see what these people can blow up! It's almost as impressive as the marvels they create. I can't wait to lose at Munchkin to such an amazing group of folks."

Drop by the Expo Hall and get your Munchkin cards or Dork Tower comics signed this weekend!

Stuck in Texas? Start a revolution! Randy Scheunemann, our new Convention Manager and Retail Liason, is attending the Dallas Games Marathon this weekend. This monthly gaming event lasts for three days and includes tournaments, demos, and open gaming. He'll be on hand to oversee a Revolution! tournament, meet fans, and offer a preview of Ogre Sixth Edition

You can play games and meet other gamers at either one of these events. Hope to see you there!
