Our ongoing Kickstarter campaign to create a big box of fun for use with The Fantasy Trip Legacy Edition is continuing to gather support, with Decks of Destiny growing heavier and heavier as stretch goals are unlocked and more is packed inside. May 4, 2019:
Now that The Fantasy Trip Legacy Edition has been released (find it at your favorite local game store or at Warehouse 23), we're seeing more and more comments from those new to the game who have questions. Fortunately, there are two excellent channels to turn to for assistance: The official forums, where players and GMs have been very helpful in guiding new players. The Fantasy Trip group on Facebook, where over 800 players regularly discuss the game . . . and share a lot of great session reports along with personal tips and tricks . . . read article

As a part of the ongoing Decks of Destiny campaign – back the project today! – we're offering the Player's Pack, a collection of accessories for players of The Fantasy Trip roleplaying game. The pack includes a deck of 13 option cards (for selecting your character's actions each turn), two dry-erase character cards, a dry-erase marker, and a 16-page journal to record the exploits and details of your favorite character.  And since we know there's a demand, we're also offering the character journal as a separate add-on item; after your response to the Melee and Wizard character pads that we included in the Legacy Edition box set, we're going to print a few extras of the journal for future sale on Warehouse 23 . . . read article

We announced this prototype d6 in an update to the Decks of Destiny campaign, revealed a little info on the making of the die in this BGG blog post, and now we're happy to share the design with all of you: This 25mm metal die was created using some of Liz Danforth's counter artwork from The Fantasy Trip and, as you can tell by the photo, it turned out great! We started work on the die earlier this year when David and I visited the GPI factory in China, and a steady stream of discussion and revisions was required to take the concept through to this finished prototype . . . read article

One of the more popular new components for The Fantasy Trip that was introduced in the Legacy Edition, the dry-erase megahex tiles, is set for expansion with the new Decks of Destiny box set that is now funding on Kickstarter. These die-cut, double-sided terrain tiles are designed to be assembled to form dungeons, arenas, and other locales for adventure, with the six sheets of tiles in the Legacy Edition providing enough play space for a small battlefield . . . read article
